Literary Studies

Admission requirements

Applicants should hold a Master's degree in Humanities (Philology, Languages, Literature, Linguistics, Philosophy, History, Social Sciences, Psychology, #) with sufficient background in historical and contemporary literary research. As the courses are taught in English, French and Dutch, students should ideally have sufficient knowledge of those languages. Dutch-speaking students are expected to take the courses in all three languages. English- and French-speaking students will be able to follow a special programme, should there be a language barrier, but they should anticipate a more restricted choice of courses.
